WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY – KÜ KÜCHEN PHILIPPINES

1. Warranty Conditions

  • The product must be an original item officially distributed by Kuchen Philippines.
  • The warranty seal/label must remain intact, not torn or removed.
  • The damage must not fall under the “Warranty Exclusion” cases listed below.

2. Warranty Period

  • The warranty period is counted from the purchase date stated on the customer’s invoice and/or the activation date via Kuchen’s electronic warranty system.
  • In any case, the warranty period must not exceed the maximum period calculated from the product’s manufacturing date printed on the product.
  • Specific warranty durations are applied depending on each product category.

Warranty service includes:

  • Free repair, replacement of parts, or product exchange depending on the type of defect, as evaluated by Kuchen.
  • For replacement products: the warranty period will continue based on the remaining warranty time of the original product.
  • If the product has no valid purchase invoice or no electronic warranty activation, the warranty period is calculated as:
    Warranty period = Manufacturing date + Standard warranty duration + 6 months.

Warranty for replacement parts:

  • Replacement parts are covered for 3 months (90 days).
    If the remaining warranty period of the original product is more than 3 months, the part will follow the product’s remaining warranty period.$
    If the remaining warranty period of the original product is less than 3 months, the part will have a 3-month warranty from the date of replacement.

3. Warranty Processing Time

  • Metro Manila Service Center: within 3-5 working days from the date of receiving the product.
  • Other provinces (via delivery to Manila): within 7-10 working days.
  • Special cases may require longer time; Kuchen will contact the customer directly.

4. Shipping Costs for Warranty Service

  • Replacement product: Kuchen covers 2-way shipping.
  • Warranty repair: Kuchen covers return shipping to the customer.
  • Paid service (out-of-warranty repair): Customers bear 2-way shipping costs.

Note: These shipping policies apply only when customers send products directly to Kuchen Service Center in Metro Manila.

5. Warranty Exclusions (Non-Coverage Cases)

Kuchen will refuse warranty in the following cases:

  • Products exceeding the warranty period.
  • Normal wear and tear of components, unless caused by manufacturing defects.
  • Damages in product appearance (scratches, dents, stains, cracks, deformation, etc.) without unboxing video proof at delivery.
    Damages caused by using non-Kuchen genuine accessories or incompatible third-party devices.
  • Damages caused by misuse, accidents, exposure to liquid, fire, or other external impacts.
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized repair, modification, or assembly by non-Kuchen authorized centers.
    Altered, removed, or tampered serial numbers, manufacturer codes, or warranty seals.

For cases outside warranty coverage, Kuchen may still provide repair services, but all costs will be borne by the customer.
